	Longmont Heritage Newsletter Indexes: Longmont Heritage Chronological Index Longmont Heritage Alphabetical Index Our society has published a newsletter each quarter starting January, 1988. Above are links to two indexes, one ordered chronologically by date and the other alphabetically by title. They include all of the major articles that may be of interest to you if you are researching the history of Longmont, searching for relatives who lived here, or looking for how-to genealogy articles. Original newsletters may be viewed at the Longmont Public Library, Compact Shelves Reference 929.7886305 LON ( 9+ volumes ).
	Shaw Mortuary Burial Records The Shaw Mortuary was in business from approximately 1882 to 1945 when the business was sold to George Howe. A fire in 2013 distroyed the original records maintained by the Shaws, but the Longmont Genealogical Society had reproduced many of the records in their Quarterly Newsletters. These burial records have been indexed and are now available here.
	Boulder County News Index The Boulder County News was published from October 12, 1869 until November 8, 1878. This newspaper in available on microfilm at the Longmont Public Library and is located upstairs with the other newspapers on microfilm.
	Online Obituaries The Longmont Daily Times-Call has improved their online obituary service! Click on Times-Call to go to their site, then click on "Milestones," then Obituaries. Spend a little time exploring the site and you will be rewarded by finding links to obituaries from Longmont and in other cities and states.
